Kings Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category presented by the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, Mrs Diane Hawkins JP LLB

On Monday 7^th October 2024, Anacarda Ltd Managing Directors Paul H. Jones and Brian Allen were formally presented with the King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category by Lord Lieutenant Mrs Diane Hawkins JP LLB.

Anacarda secured the award for its specialist Phenalkamine products offered under the Cardamine brand. This award is added to the current Queen’s Award for Enterprise received in 2021 for innovation and these innovative products are the reason for this second huge success.

Cardamine grades are used in a variety of industrial coating applications, especially in protective Marine coatings. In keeping with UN initiatives and targeting Sustainable Development Goals, the Cardamine grades tick a multitude of boxes aside from their green sustainable feedstock and high Bio-based Carbon content. These materials not only satisfy new regulations, but they also provide exceptional cure response and outstanding hydrophobicity and corrosion protection.
